Important summary

Your subscription normally renews automatically until cancelled. A three-day trial, where offered, converts to the selected paid plan unless you cancel before it ends. You remain responsible for your station, its content and all music, broadcasting and other licences it requires. Sections 15 and 16 contain important limits and legal terms.

01

Who we are and when these terms apply

These Terms of Service (the Terms) are an agreement between you and Unlimited Radio Hosting Management, 4 Collage Avenue, Belfast BT1 6BD, United Kingdom (URH, we, us or our). They govern your use of this website, your billing account and every radio-hosting subscription or related service ordered through it.

By creating an account, placing an order, accepting a trial or continuing to use a service, you agree to these Terms. If you order on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information and forms part of the information supplied with these Terms.

If a written enterprise agreement or service-level agreement signed by us conflicts with these Terms, that agreement takes priority for the conflicting subject only. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

02

Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.
  • You must provide complete, accurate and current registration, billing and contact details. A new self-service account must verify its email address; an unverified account may be deleted after 24 hours.
  • A verified account without a radio service or active subscription may have its account access deleted after a 30-day email warning. Add a radio subscription, or contact support about an unlinked existing service, before the notified deadline. Download any invoices you need before account deletion. To use our services after deletion, you must register again; required billing and audit history is retained.
  • Your account is personal to you or your organisation. You must not sell, transfer or share it with an unauthorised person.
  • You must protect passwords, multi-factor authentication codes, recovery methods and radio-server credentials, and notify us promptly if you suspect compromise.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for users, presenters or DJs to whom you give access, except to the extent caused by our breach.

We may ask for reasonable information to verify identity, authority, eligibility or payment. We may refuse registration, restrict duplicate accounts or require additional security where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse or harm.

03

Orders and contract formation

Package pages, quotes and checkout screens are invitations to place an order, not promises that capacity is available. Your order is an offer to buy the selected service. A contract starts when we expressly accept the order, activate the subscription or begin provisioning, whichever happens first.

The checkout summary records the selected backend, server type, stream quality, AutoDJ storage, listener or transfer allowance, price and billing cycle. It takes priority over general marketing copy for those plan-specific details. Please check it before ordering and contact us immediately if the confirmation is wrong.

We may reject or cancel an order before activation if payment is not authorised, required information is missing, the order appears fraudulent or abusive, capacity is unavailable, or a material pricing or description error is obvious. If we cancel after taking payment and no service has been supplied, we will refund that payment.

04

Trials and subscriptions

Where a package displays a three-day trial, the trial starts when the subscription is accepted. A valid payment method may be required. Unless the checkout says otherwise, the trial automatically converts to the selected paid subscription and the first charge is taken when the trial ends. Cancel before that time if you do not want the paid service.

Trials are limited to one per customer, household, organisation, station or payment method unless we agree otherwise. We may end or refuse a trial where we reasonably identify duplication, manipulation, fraud or misuse. Features and allowances during a trial may be limited.

Subscriptions continue for successive billing periods until cancelled or terminated under these Terms. The billing interval shown at checkout is the subscription period.

05

The radio-hosting service

We provide a managed billing and station-management service. Depending on the package, a station may be provisioned on an AzuraCast or MediaCP backend and may use Icecast or SHOUTcast-compatible streaming. The specific features and limits are those shown in your accepted order and control room.

Provisioning is automated where possible but can require checks or manual work. Activation times are estimates unless we expressly guarantee a deadline in writing. We may allocate or move a service between suitable servers, IP addresses, ports, storage systems or data centres to maintain security, performance and capacity. We will seek to minimise avoidable interruption.

Unless expressly included in the order, the service does not include music or broadcast licences, programme rights, royalties, legal clearance, content production, a domain name, an internet connection, listener devices or third-party software licences.

We may improve, replace or retire a feature where reasonably necessary. We will give reasonable notice of a material reduction affecting an active paid subscription and, where appropriate, offer a practical alternative or a right to cancel the affected service.

06

Charges, payment and renewal

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. Any applicable tax and the total payable will be shown before you place the order. Charges are normally payable in advance for each billing period through the payment processor offered at checkout.

By starting a subscription, you authorise us and our payment processor to charge the selected payment method for recurring fees, applicable tax and agreed additional charges until cancellation. We do not store full payment-card details. You must keep a valid payment method and billing details on file.

We may change renewal prices by giving reasonable advance notice. A price change applies from a later renewal, not retrospectively. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.

If payment fails or becomes overdue, we may retry it and mark the service past due. After any stated grace period, we may restrict or suspend the service. If the amount remains unpaid, we may terminate it and delete remote station resources in accordance with section 12. Payment after suspension may reactivate the service, but restoration is not guaranteed after termination. You remain responsible for charges properly incurred before termination.

07

Cancellation, cooling-off rights and refunds

How to cancel

You may cancel through the billing control room where that option is available or by emailing billing@unlimitedradiohosting.com from your registered address. Unless the cancellation screen says otherwise, cancellation stops the next renewal and service continues until the end of the paid period. Deleting an app, stopping broadcasts or ceasing use does not cancel a subscription.

UK consumer cooling-off right

If you are a UK consumer buying at a distance, you will normally have 14 days from contract formation to cancel. If you ask us to begin the service during that period, we may charge a proportionate amount for service supplied before cancellation where the law permits and the required request and information have been provided. If a digital service has been fully performed following the legally required request and acknowledgement, the cancellation right may end. These Terms do not limit your statutory rights where a service is faulty, misdescribed or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.

To exercise the cooling-off right, send a clear statement to our postal or email address. You may use: “I give notice that I cancel my contract for [service], ordered on [date]. My name, address, account email, date and signature (if posted) are [details].”

Business customers do not have a statutory consumer cooling-off right. Except where required by law, caused by our billing error, or expressly promised, payments are not refundable for an unused part of a billing period after the cooling-off period. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where practicable.

08

Plan allowances and fair use

You must keep use within the bitrate, storage, bandwidth or transfer, listener, station and other allowances shown for the package. Measurements recorded by the hosting platform are used for operational enforcement unless a clear error is demonstrated.

Reseller hosting: purchasing a package expressly sold as reseller hosting permits you to provide its included stations to your own customers. The station count is a reserved allowance, not a requirement to activate all stations immediately. The advertised media storage is one total allowance across those stations; per-station allocations must stay within that total and each media library remains separate. Reseller packages have no free trial. You remain responsible for your customers’ use, permissions and compliance with these Terms. Separate station logins do not give your customers access to your reseller billing account.

Where an allowance is described as “unlimited”, it means no fixed routine cap for normal use of the purchased radio service. It does not permit use that unreasonably exhausts shared capacity, degrades other customers, circumvents technical controls, stores unrelated archives, operates a general download service, or resells capacity outside an expressly permitted reseller package or separate written approval.

If use materially exceeds an allowance or reasonable fair use, we may contact you, suggest a suitable package, apply a documented overage arrangement, or restrict the affected resource where necessary. We will normally give an opportunity to resolve the issue unless urgent action is required to protect the service.

09

Broadcast content, ownership and licences

You retain ownership of content you upload or transmit. You grant us and our infrastructure providers a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, copy, process, transcode, cache and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure and support the service.

You are the operator and editorial controller of your station. You must obtain and maintain all permissions, music and neighbouring-rights licences, royalties, presenter consents, privacy notices, competition rules, advertising clearances and other authorisations required in every territory in which you operate or target listeners. A URH hosting subscription is not a music, copyright or broadcast licence.

You warrant that your content and use do not infringe copyright, trade marks, privacy, publicity or other rights. You must respond promptly to credible rights complaints and preserve evidence relevant to them. We may disable access to disputed material while a complaint is assessed.

10

Acceptable use

You must not use the website or service to:

  • break the law, encourage crime or violate a court, regulator or licensing requirement;
  • publish unlawful, infringing, defamatory, threatening, hateful, discriminatory or sexually exploitative material, or any content that endangers children;
  • distribute malware, phishing, unsolicited bulk messages, credential theft, scams or deceptive traffic;
  • attack, scan, overload, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts or networks;
  • evade package limits, falsify listener activity, interfere with measurements, mine cryptocurrency, operate an open proxy or use storage for unrelated file distribution;
  • collect, expose or misuse personal information, including presenter or listener data, contrary to applicable data-protection law;
  • resell, sublicense or white-label the service unless your purchased package expressly permits reseller hosting or we give separate written agreement; or
  • assist another person to do any of the above.

Report suspected abuse or copyright concerns to office@unlimitedradiohosting.com with enough detail for us to locate and assess the material. We may preserve and disclose relevant records where lawfully required.

11

Availability, maintenance, support and backups

We monitor the platform and aim to provide a reliable service, but continuous or error-free availability is not guaranteed unless a separate written service-level agreement says so. Interruptions may result from maintenance, security work, internet routing, upstream providers, attacks, customer configuration, software defects or events outside reasonable control.

We may perform urgent maintenance without advance notice. For planned material maintenance, we will give notice where reasonably practicable. Support response times are targets unless expressly agreed as guarantees.

You must keep independent copies of irreplaceable audio, playlists, artwork, configurations and business records. Operational backups and recovery systems are for platform resilience and are not a substitute for your own backup. We do not promise that a deleted or corrupted item can be recovered.

12

Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend an account or service where reasonably necessary because of overdue payment, suspected compromise, legal or rights complaints, material breach, risk to users or infrastructure, abusive resource use, or a request from an authorised authority or provider. We will normally explain the reason and provide an opportunity to remedy it, unless doing so would be unlawful, unsafe or impracticable.

We may terminate for a material breach that is not remedied within a reasonable stated period, repeated breaches, fraud, serious or illegal misuse, insolvency, persistent non-payment, or where we can no longer lawfully or technically provide the service. You may terminate by cancelling under section 7.

When a service ends, access stops and its remote station, media, playlists, credentials and configuration may be disabled or deleted. Export anything you need before the effective date. We may retain billing, security, legal and backup records as described in the Privacy Policy. Terms which by their nature should continue—including payment, intellectual property, liability and dispute provisions—survive termination.

13

Our intellectual property

URH and its licensors own the billing platform, interface, software, documentation, design, trade marks and branding, excluding your content and open-source components governed by their own licences. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose while your account is active.

You must not copy, sell, reverse engineer, bypass or create derivative commercial services from protected parts of the platform except where law expressly permits. If you send suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment, but you do not transfer ownership of unrelated material.

14

Third-party services

The service depends on third parties such as payment processors, email-delivery providers, data centres, networks and the AzuraCast or MediaCP software and infrastructure selected for your station. Their separate terms or privacy notices may apply to direct interactions, including the payment page or radio control panel.

We are responsible for choosing and managing providers to the extent required by law and our contract with you, but we do not control every third-party network or independently supplied feature. We may replace a supplier with a suitable alternative. Third-party names are used for identification and remain their owners’ property.

15

Liability

If you are a consumer

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business loss arising from consumer use, or for loss caused by your breach, unlawful content, insecure credentials or failure to keep reasonable backups. Your statutory consumer remedies remain available.

If you are acting in business

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings, goodwill or data. Our total aggregate liability arising from an affected service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid or payable for that service during that period.

Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, deliberate misconduct, or any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded. A business customer will reimburse us for reasonable losses, claims and costs caused by its unlawful content, infringement of third-party rights or deliberate material misuse of the service, to the extent legally enforceable and not caused by us.

16

Changes, complaints and general legal terms

We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational or service reasons. We will publish the current version and give reasonable notice of a material change affecting an active subscription. If the change materially disadvantages you, you may cancel the affected service before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, provided the affected party takes reasonable steps to limit the impact. We may assign the contract as part of a genuine reorganisation, financing or transfer of our business, without reducing your rights. You may not assign it without our written consent.

Send billing or service complaints to billing@unlimitedradiohosting.com. We will investigate and aim to provide a reasoned response. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain mandatory local protections and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you. Business disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

No person other than you and us has a right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. A delay in enforcement is not a waiver. For business customers, these Terms and the accepted order are the entire agreement and replace earlier statements about the same service, except for fraud or an expressly incorporated written agreement.
